Courtez Hall, 33, from New Orleans and Kandace Florence and Jordan Marshall, both 28, from Virginia, were all found dead on November 2 in Mexico City, during the country's Day of the Dead celebrations, the Mirror reports.
The three US citizens' bodies have all been identified and their bizarre deaths remain under investigation, as the US Embassy confirmed they are monitoring the situation but have so far gotten no further with the case.Ms Florence's boyfriend revealed that she had phoned him on October 30 and she told him that she wasn't feeling well.
Their call was disconnected and he phoned the Airbnb host of the place she was staying at to make a welfare check.Mr Hall's mother, Ceola, told WDSU that her son had phoned her on October 29 to let her know they had arrived.
