Two air ambulances and multiple paramedics were called to Plank Lane in Leigh yesterday (Sunday) at around 11.30am. The bike is believed to have been travelling along the towpath on the Leeds Liverpool Canal before coming off the track at the lift bridge on Plank Lane.
The condition of the children is currently unknown. A man who was also riding the quad was taken to hospital along with them.
