Threave Rovers have appointed Danny Dunglinson as their new manager. The midfielder will take the reigns at Meadow Park from Paul McGinley, who has been filling in as a caretaker manager since Vinnie Parker’s departure earlier in the campaign.

And Dunglinson has wasted no time in beginning to shape his squad for the new season. Midfielder Owen Bell will be joining the Castle Douglas side, having previously played in the West of Scotland League with Cumnock and also turned out for Workington Reds, Queen of the South, East Kilbride and Dalbeattie Star.

Former Queen of the South and Star goalie Sam Henderson will also make the move to Meadow Park in the summer. And Dylan Cairnie, Liam Park, Harry Officer, Hugh Cameron, Ross Thomson, Liam Douglas and Tam Coles have all signed new contracts.
