Thousands of people who were given their Covid jabs at a mass vaccination site were given the wrong dosage, it has been reported.
People reportedly received too little of the Pfizer doses of the vaccine because of a blunder at a mass inoculation site in California, US on Monday.
One medic was said to have thought that about 4,300 people had given their jabs before the mistake was discovered. Up to 6,000 people can be vaccinated at the site at Oakland Coliseum during weekdays, according to reports.
KTVU reports that two unnamed medical workers at the facility made the claims that the doses had been given out wrongly. The problem at the site is said to have stemmed from orange-capped syringes that were used and the amount of Pfizer vaccine
