Thomas Tuchel has given some insight into how the Chelsea squad welcomed him to the club after being parachuted in after Frank Lampard's dismissal.
The Blues legend was axed in January after a poor stretch of form and a whirlwind 48 hour period saw the German in the hotseat.
With Chelsea sitting ninth in the table, it was envisaged that Tuchel would steady the ship until next season. But even Roman Abramovich must be impressed by the remarkable start to life the 47-year-old has had on Kings Road.
It has been 10 games in charge for Tuchel so far - seven wins, three draws. Among those victories include 1-0 results over teams led by Jose Mourinho, Diego Simeone and now Jurgen Klopp - all away from home.
