In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records. In November of the same year, Scott signed a deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music, as part of its production wing Very GOOD Beats. In April 2013, Scott signed a record deal with T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint.

There’s still money being made as well. Wise Music Group recently renewed its worldwide publishing relationship with the Academy Award-winning Icelandic composer and cellist Hildur Guðnadóttir.

The Voice coach and country artist Blake Shelton announced a drive-in tour. Travis Scott had a successful Fortnite appearance earlier this year, as did DJ Steve Aoki.But live music is, by far, the largest economic driver of the worldwide music business.
