This Morning's Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes shared a few cross words on Monday's show. The husband and wife, both 60, got into a fiery dispute over kitchen duties - after Eamonn claimed that he spent his Sunday scrubbing the family cooking area at their home.

Ruth hit back at her other half after he boasted about doing the chores and reminded him that emptying the dishwasher once - something that she does three times a day - does not count as a deep kitchen blitz.

As Eamonn went on about his domestic duties Ruth called him a "liar" which left TV star Eamonn furious. The broadcaster then queried her remark and defended himself as he blasted back "I am not a liar!" Later on in the show they continued to quibble about kitchen duties and
