This Morning 's Holly Willoughby had a very cruel April Fool's prank played on her last year by her co host Phillip Schofield and the rest of the team.

In This Morning's advent calendar on Tuesday, the clip resurfaced as it was played on the show and Holly cringed watching it back.

Phil explained: "On the 1st of April, Holly had high hopes for Carol's transformation, after she was nominated for a makeover by her husband Pete. "But little did Holly know that everything was a total lie!" In the throwback clip, Carol stepped out into the studio with her new look, but when Holly and Phil told her how great she looked, she burst into tears.
