After being like a ghost town for the last few months - its pubs, bars and restaurants closed due to the pandemic - on Friday the city centre's nightlife swung into action in earnest once again.
And it was a sight for sore eyes. Just like on Monday, when restrictions on hospitality and non-essential shops were first eased, tables were at a premium.
