A third man accused of the murder of Neri Morse in Ancoats has appeared in court. Jermaine Leahong, 22, appeared in the dock at Manchester Magistrates' Court this morning (April 28).
Mr Leahong, of Lagos Close, Manchester, is charged with the murder of 24-year-old Neri Morse. He is also charged with an offence of section 18 grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife, in a public place.
Dad-of-one Neri, 24, died following an incident on Pollard Street, just outside the city centre, around 6.30pm on April 20 this year.
