So if you turn up before this point or after the polls have closed, you won't be allowed to vote. However, if you are in a queue to vote at 10pm, the Electoral Commission says you are still allowed to vote.

And as coronavirus restrictions are in place this year, you must wear a face covering (unless you are medically exempt) and maintain two metre social distancing at all times.

Writing implements are not provided for voting - so bring your own pencil. A designated coronavirus officer is designated for every polling station to ensure the rules are followed.
