Patrice Evra has revealed Thierry Henry was so appalled at the idea of Granit Xhaka as Arsenal captain that he refused to watch them on TV.
The Swiss midfielder was stripped of the captaincy after an outburst at the club's fans during their home clash with Crystal Palace last year.
Since then Xhaka has somewhat restored his reputation at the club under Mikel Arteta's management. But he landed himself in hot water again on Sunday with a petulant red card against Burnley, which pushed Evra to publicise Henry's damning verdict.
