Paramount, Universal, and Disney are expected to be putting forward trailers of their releases this year to get shown during the coveted ad break.
Some reports suggest that slots for advertisements can cost upwards of US$7million for only 30 seconds.According to Variety, Paramout is set to air trailers for Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, billed as Tom Cruise’s last appearance as the risk-taking spy.
They are also set to show trailers for Smurfs and thriller Novocaine. Meanwhile, Disney is spectated to focus on its summer releases, including the live-action Lilo and Stitch, Thunderbolts, Pixar’s Elio, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which Marvel boss Kevin Feige said used video game Fortnite for inspiration.
Universal is expected to show a trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth, starring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali.
