justjared.comTwo television shows are set to film this summer as mass shutdowns are still in place across America. Tyler Perry Studios will open up to begin filming BET’s Sistas and The Oval.
Sistas will begin filming on July 8 for two-and-a-half weeks, with The Oval beginning their similar-length shoot on July 28. Tyler Perry is “doing everything by the book,” a source tells Variety.
He will reportedly fly the cast in his private plane from both Los Angeles and New York, where he will have them tested for Coronavirus before boarding.
The crew is largely Atlanta-based, but they are taking precautions. Upon the cast and crew all arriving in Atlanta, they will be tested again and cleared to work when results are in.
