'There were people who saw them killed...do the right thing': Families' heartbreaking pleas to community after two men shot dead in street

both died in hospital after being shot on Caythorpe Street, on Sunday, June 21.To mark the anniversary, Cheriff’s mum Suwaidu and Abayomi’s wife Lola have written open letters to the community in the hope that people will come forward with information to help convict those responsible.Both women have shared the harrowing impact the loss of Cheriff and Abayomi has had on both their families.Lola describes the pain of suddenly becoming a single mum to the couple's children, while Suwaidu talks about how she is no longer living, only existing, since losing her child.

Lola also had a message to her husband's killer, saying "karma will bite you twice as hard - you must not understand what you have caused."Those responsible have yet to be brought.
