There’s a new trend for matching your mask to your eye make-up

Wearing a mask is not always the most pleasant experience, but they are necessary to help protect yourself, those around you, and to reduce transmission.

However, that does not mean you cannot have fun with your new accessory – and a lot of people have been flexing their creative muscles through the medium of make-up.

A mask covers half your face – which you might initially think would limit your beauty options, as you can’t exactly model a bright lip – but make-up fans have been more than making up for this by playing around with their eye looks, and matching with their masks.

There is huge scope for experimentation here – on the more subdued and wearable side of things, you can wear a mask in muted tones like peach or lilac and sport
