‘The White Lotus’ season three trailer drops – and we’ve got a release date
nme.comThe White Lotus has been revealed – watch it below.The HBO black comedy-drama will be returning on February 16 on streaming service Max, and it looks as though a new set of guests will be checking into the hotel.Following seasons set in Hawaii and Sicily, the upcoming season will take place in Thailand.
And while there are lots of new additions to the cast, season 1 character Belinda Lindsey (Natasha Rothwell) makes a return.Belinda, first introduced as the manager of the hotel in Maui in the debut season, is enjoying a transfer stay at the sister hotel in Thailand.Among the other stars of season 3, meanwhile, include BLACKPINK’s Lisa – whose character welcomes the guests to the hotel in the trailer – Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb and Scott Glenn.This is Lisa’s first acting role and the star, who’s Thai herself, previously told Elle what viewers can expect from the upcoming season.
She said: “It’s pretty new to me, but I think it’s similar to shooting music videos. I’m excited for my fans to see it,” adding that it was great “to be back home, to have Thai food every day.”Earlier this year, HBO announced it would be recasting a role originally given to Serbian actor Miloš Biković.
