The Weeknd has announced the release date for his upcoming film, Hurry Up Tomorrow, tying into his upcoming album of the same name.It was reported last year that the singer – real name Abel Tesfaye – had been working on a film with Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.
At the time, the film was unnamed until last month when Deadline reported that the film would be titled ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ and would serve as “an extension” to his sixth album of the same name.Today (December 20), Tesfaye took to his official X/Twitter account to announce that the film will be released on May 16 2025.
As per Deadline’s report, the film – Directed by Trey Edward Shults – will also star the ‘Starboy’ singer and will be a psychological thriller.
