That's why people across Greater Manchester have been making the most of bin collection day. They've been dressing up in whacky outfits to take the rubbish out.
From sumo wrestling suits to mankinis, startled neighbours across the region have seen it all. The bizarre craze of dressing up to take the bins out actually started out in Australia.
There's even a dedicated Facebook page, Bin Isolation Outing, for people to show off their outfits to other bin-costume fanatics.
