The Voice producers are looking for Scots who will impress them and follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Craig Eddie at auditions being held in Glasgow.
City Centre venue Bloc+ on Bath Street has been asked to host the ITV show's first round of singing auditions tonight. The Voice UK 2021 winner Craig, from Falkirk went reached number one in the iTunes chart with his winner's single 'Come Waste My Time' following his big win on the show.Craig, who also landed at eight in the official Top 40, has now appeared at a whole host of events and has some special announcements to make in coming weeks about some festival appearances.Tonight producers will join performers at the venue's regular open mic night, Raspberry Jam between 9pm and 1am.Solo artists, duos, trios and groups are all welcome to show off their voices.Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs will be coaching whoever makes it through the first televised rounds of the show.Auditionees this evening are asked to perform one song accompanied with an instrument ,house band or backing track, and all musical styles qualify for entry.Under 18s need a parent or guardian with them and must be 16 years of age on or before November 26, 2022.
