Rangers won't be able to rely on Motherwell and Hamilton to back their call for an independent investigation in to the SPFL.
The two Premiership clubs have SPFL board members in the shape of Alan Burrows and Les Gray. And according to a report, they aren't willing to go against the rest of the board and back Rangers' call for an EGM - where they will then chase for a second investigation into the governing body.Rangers need 32 clubs out of the 42 to vote yes to their bid to get an EGM.
