The 'truly mesmerising' Scottish amethyst cave near Edinburgh that everyone should see

A travel blogger has shared an amazing video of an 'Amethyst Cave' in Scotland, and has urged other Scots to "see it for themselves".Fern Mather, 30, visited the Jupiter Artland sculpture park and art gallery just outside of Edinburgh last week.

While there, the Glasgow blogger recorded her experience at 'The light pours out of me' exhibit and was quick to share it on TikTok.The immersive art installation is an underground grotto that is covered with amethysts, and is surrounded by obsidian and gold barbed wire.

Visitors journey down into the cave, where they can see its colourful and jagged walls up close.Amethysts are popular for their vibrant hue and supposed healing properties.

The violet quartz crystals are believed by some to help to relieve stress and reduce anxiety.Speaking to the Daily Record, Fern said: "I would say it's a truly mesmerising experience in the middle of Jupiter Artland and would recommend everyone to go along and see it for themselves!"Meanwhile, according to the Jupiter Artland website, the art installation's creator Anya GallaccIio states: "I would like it to be unsettling for people when they first encounter it.
