The Travelling Auctioneers season three has been unveiling hidden gems, thanks in part to newcomer Lauren Wood. The show, narrated by seasoned bargain hunter Christina Trevanion, follows a team of experts as they scour the country in search of undervalued treasures.

Long-time stars Izzie Balmer and JJ Chalmers are back to lend their expertise, now accompanied by four fresh additions to the team.

Among them are restorer Lauren Wood and auctioneers Briony “Bee” Harford, James “JB” Broad, and Saf Fakir. Lauren spent her childhood constructing intricate Lego creations and was influenced by her father's DIY projects.

He inspired her to pursue a degree in cabinet-making, a skill she has applied to the craft of wooden furniture restoration. Lauren spent a decade teaching woodwork at a secondary school before being encouraged to compete in season two of Handmade: Britain's Best Woodworker by her loving wife Martha, whom she affectionately refers to as "Dolly." In 2012, Lauren and Dolly met by chance during a surf camp weekend held in the picturesque town of Gower, Wales.
