The Traitors star Zack 'upset' as he apologises to viewers for ‘ruining’ BBC show

The Traitors star Zack Davies has apologised for "ruining" the show by managing to get Ross Carson banished just as he was starting his plot to avenge murdered mum Diane.

Last week, viewers of the BBC One show were left on a cliffhanger as Harry and Andrew recruited Ross to join the Traitors without realising that murdered contestant Diane was his mum and he accepted with a plan to get revenge for her.

Fans then had to wait five days to see the next episode on Wednesday night, but did not get the satisfaction of seeing Ross avenge Diane as Zack closed in on him at the round table, managing to get him banished after just one day as a Traitor.

When Ross stood up to reveal he was a Traitor, he told the group: "I will just leave you with one little Easter egg before I go.
