Prince Philip’s coffin has been moved from the private chapel at Windsor Castle ahead of his funeral on Saturday 17 April. Mourners have began to arrive at the royal funeral to remember the Duke of Edinburgh who died age 99 on Friday 9 April.
Since his death, Prince Philip has been lying-in-rest at a private chapel in the grounds. Prince Philip designed the private chapel himself following a fire at the castle in 1992.

Philip is believed to have overseen a restoration project and found a room which he turned to a private chapel for the Queen.
