Officers are investigating disorder which followed the club's recent league match against Workington at Broadhurst Park, in Moston.
The incident unfolded at around 5.15pm on Saturday, March 2, at the stadium's main stand bar. Greater Manchester Police says officers were called out to reports of a disturbance in the aftermath of the game.
Injuries sustained were not believed to be serious at the time, GMP says. A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public order offences following the incident and has since been bailed.
