‘The Talk’ Sets Finale Date After 15 Seasons On CBS
deadline.comThe Talk‘s 15-season run will come to an end with a final stretch of live shows the week of Dec. 16, leading to the Dec. 20 series finale.
It is unclear whether any of The Talk‘s previous hosts, including show creator Sara Gilbert, would return for the farewell, with CBS only teasing that current hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood will be “welcoming an array of guests” during their last week, along with big holiday giveaways.
The Talk was expected to end next month; CBS announced back in April that the show was being renewed for a 15th and final season that would wrap in December.
The Talk‘s time period, 2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, will be taken over by new daytime soap Beyond the Gates, which is set to premiere Feb.
