Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has revealed that the trust Ole Gunnar Solskjaer showed to start him in the Premier League win against Chelsea was massive for him.
Bailly had been absent for United since April due to a series of knee injuries, the first one came against Chelsea in April 2019 and ruled him out for the rest of last season as well as the Africa Cup of Nations.
The centre-back managed to recover in time for United's pre-season tour but then suffered another injury in the opposite knee during a friendly against Tottenham.
Bailly didn't feature for the remainder of the year but made his long-awaited return to action at Stamford Bridge in February and helped United keep a clean sheet in the 2-0 win.
