Christmas Day has come and gone, and now, attention is turning to the next big event - the Boxing Day sales. Each year high streets and shopping centres across the UK fill up as people walk-off their Christmas dinner by checking the shops for a bargain.
Practically all stores across the country are forced to close on Christmas Day, however they are allowed by law to reopen as normal on Boxing Day.
While a number of stores and retailers open up to take advantage of the post-Christmas buying bonanza, a number opt to remain closed on December 26, or reduce their hours.
