‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ Among Screenings as Warner Bros. TV Partners With Boston Film Festival
variety.comMichael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Warner Bros. Television has partnered with the Boston Film Festival to launch a “WBTV College Day” at the 40th annual fest to screen a handful of new and returning series for area college students.
The event, held on Thursday, Sept. 19, will feature advance episode screenings of new series “Brilliant Minds” (NBC) and “Rescue: HI-Surf” (Fox) as well as returning Max series “The Sex Lives of College Girls” (Max).
Those screenings will also feature panel discussions and Q&As for students. “Brilliant Minds,” which stars Zachary Quinto as a neurologist who explores the human mind with his interns, will present an advance screening at Boston University. (The show premieres Sept.
23 on NBC). Participating in the post-screening Q&A will be Tamberla Perry (“Dr. Carol Pierce”), Michael Grassi (executive producer and showrunner), DeMane Davis (executive producer and director) and Daniela Lamas (consulting oroducer and writer). “Rescue: HI-Surf” will also launch with a special screening at Boston University.
