The upcoming film The Secret Garden is getting pushed back. The Marc Munden family movie will now be released on August 14 after receiving an initial release date of April 3 due to ongoing coronavirus concerns, according to European studio Studiocanal, which is closing its London office as a “precautionary measure,” Deadline reported on Friday (March 13).
The office will close for an initial period of two weeks starting on Monday (March 16). “A film that most certainly appeals to a family and older audience, the studio has has taken the decision to move out of a potentially high-risk period as the coronavirus situation continues to escalate,” the studio said.
