justjared.comThe Bridgerton series follows the books written by Julia Quinn. So far, seasons one and two followed the same trajectory as the book series with the first focusing on Daphne Bridgerton and the second following Anthony Bridgerton.
The third book follows Benedict, but the third season of the show will instead follow Colin Bridgerton and his relationship with Penelope Featherington.
New showrunner Jess Brownell released a statement explaining why Benedict’s story has been skipped for now. Click inside to read the statement… “I really feel like it’s Colin and Penelope’s time.
Because we’ve been watching both of these actors on our screens since Season 1, we’ve already invested in them a little bit.
