‘The Old Man’: When To Expect Return Of FX Series Starring Jeff Bridges & John Lithgow
deadline.comThe Old Man has finally set a season 2 return date. The drama that stars Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow returns Thursday, September 12 at 10 p.m.
ET/PT on FX with the first two episodes of the eight-episode season. All episodes will stream next day on Hulu. The series that first debuted in June of 2022 follows Dan Chase (Bridges), who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since.
When an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative learns that to ensure his future he now must reconcile his past.
With Chase flushed out of hiding, the FBI’s Assistant Director for Counterintelligence Harold Harper, played by Lithgow, is called on to hunt him down because of his complicated past with the rogue fugitive.
