The Obamas to produce comedy based on chaos of Trump’s White House takeover

evoke.ieThe shade of it all! Barack and Michelle Obama are reportedly producing a new comedy sketch series for Netflix and the subject is bound to cause a stir.
The series will be based on a book that described the chaos that ensued when the transition between Barack’s administration and the incoming Trump administration began.
The G Word is set to start filming in the new year and is part of the multi-million dollar deal the Obamas’ production company, High Ground Productions, has with the streaming service.
They bought the rights to Michael Lewis’ book, The Fifth Risk, back in 2018 and the series will be loosely based on it (and hopefully a few insider tidbits from the couple themselves).
