The number of people who have died after contracting coronavirus has reached 32,065, according to the latest figures from the Department of Health.

That is an increase of 210 deaths from 31,855 the same point yesterday. The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK has increased by 3,877 from the same point yesterday, bringing the total to 223,060.

A total of 100,490 tests were carried out yesterday - the first time in eight days the government has hit its target of 100,000 tests a day.
