The Nevermets fans 'emotional' over series finale but worrying about huge issue
ok.co.ukChannel 4's reality series, The Nevermets, has been giving us a glimpse into the lives of long-distance lovers meeting in person for the first time.The show follows five couples who are not only separated by miles but also by different cultures.
Among the couples featured on the show have British catering assistant Sarah, 38, who travelled to the Philippines to meet Jgoy, a 27 year old Filipino virtual assistant.Their emotional farewell left viewers teary-eyed as they confessed their deep feelings for each other.
It also introduced us to Jay, a 17 year old A-level student who was just 15 when he met Veena, now 26, in a Game Of Thrones chatroom.
He journeyed around 5,000 miles to meet her in India. We also got to know Dumebi, a 25 year old charity founder from London and Mazi, a 27 year old luxury car rental broker from Dubai.
