Daniel Craig hasn’t even officially hung up his gun yet but fans have been shaken up, for what feels like forever now, over who will be filling his tux.

Over the past year or so we’ve seen several ‘almost definites,’ plenty of denials and shout outs from actors dying to claim the prestigious role.

The media frenzy surrounding the casting has reached levels of speculation not seen since Pierce Brosnan lost out to Timothy Dalton, before eventually winning the part, and it’s not over yet.

So just who are the front runners to be the next 007? IN HIS FAVOUR:  The Peaky Blinder’s actor has been the favourite for years and even got the seal of approval from Pierce who has said that he ‘would be happy to see him do it’ adding ‘you need an actor
