The newest Halloween movie has finally premiered, and with it, officially ends Jamie Lee Curtis‘ run as Laurie Strode.
Halloween Ends kicks off about four years after her last encounter with masked killer Michael Myers, and Laurie is now living with her granddaughter and trying to finish her memoir.
However, when a young man stands accused of murdering a boy that he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that forces Laurie to confront the evil she can’t control.
Per Deadline, the newest film is headed toward a $43M opening for the weekend as it opened in 3,901 theaters. We’re now looking back at the entire franchise, and uncovered which Halloween movie is actually the most successful in terms of box office paydays.
