He picked up an injury in training not long after signing a deal until the end of the season and today's win over Leyton Orient was the first time he was named in the squad.The left-back made his debut by coming on for Huddersfield Town loanee Ben Jackson with 10 minutes of normal time remaining.Though he had limited time on the pitch, Evatt was pleased with what he saw from John in the late appearance and that Wanderers will build up his game time after a spell out injured.Evatt said: "I’m really excited and he’s laughing at me after the game saying 'I only got over the halfway line once!' I said , 'give us a break, it’s our first win in a few weeks, it’ll come!'"But we’ll just build him up slowly.
