Here is today's Mancunian Way: By BETH ABBIT - Thurs July 7, 2022 Welcome, Goodbye then Boris Johnson - the man who promised so much to so many but ultimately left us wanting.
And never more so than now, in the midst of a cost of living crisis when food, fuel and heating is simply unaffordable. The Prime Minister's resignation essentially leaves the country without a functioning government at a time when millions are at risk of hunger, poverty and homelessness.
It certainly leaves our region in limbo. And what now for the promises made as part of Mr Johnson’s flagship Levelling Up policy?
