Jurgen Klopp wants his Liverpool side to take inspiration from Manchester City’s approach against Aston Villa when his side look to overturn a first leg defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Liverpool trail 1-0 from the first leg in Madrid, and will need to win by two goals at Anfield next week to progress and stand a chance of retaining their European crown.
However, Diego Simeone's Atletico side are masters of defending, as they showed in the first leg, and Liverpool will need more than just the Anfield atmosphere to break down their opponents.
So Klopp has been looking for ways to get in behind Atletico, and he appears to have found one method as he sat down to watch City's Carabao Cup final victory over Villa.
