One that tends not to make the more glamorous lists of Outlander filming sites in Scotland, it's a bit of a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by the show's fans visiting the capital.
Found in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, Bakehouse Close is a true throwback to the city of the past and was, therefore, the ideal location to be the filming site of one of the most popular episodes.The historic close doubles as Carfax Close, where Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) works at Alexander Malcolm’s print shop.
It's the location of the reunion, where Claire (Caitriona Balfe) finally finds him after they've spent 20 years apart following Claire's return to the future.
