Two looters who giggled after swiping Crocs and bath bombs from high street shops during this summer's riots have avoided a jail sentence.
Elizabete Zvirgzdina heped herself to a basket and loaded it with 'as much as she could carry' from the Lush store in Hull's city centre, which was targeted by rioters after last summer's Southport attacks.
Lucy Houghton joined her in snatching pairs of Crocs burgled from a nearby Shoezone and left on the pavement. In an image which later went viral on Twitter, the pair were snapped grinning as they showed off their loot.
Now, both women face criminal records after they narrowly avoided prison, telling Hull Crown Court they thought it was ok since they 'saw everybody else doing it', Hull Live reports.
