J. Kim Murphy Joe Bob Briggs is back at “The Last Drive-In,” with Shudder debuting the first trailer for its variety show’s seventh season ahead of its March 7 premiere.
Along with new footage and a promise of many double-features, the show also announced that the first episode would guest feature Spencer Charnas, frontman of the horror-slanted heavy metal band Ice Nine Kills.
The program, hosted by Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Main Girl, also teased its season premiere programming, promising a 100th birthday celebration for “the first great American horror film.” This seventh season will cover more than 30 genre titles. “The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs” returns on March 7 at 9 pm ET, playing on Shudder TV and AMC+ TV feeds.
A new episode will then release on the first Friday of each month, with prior tapings available on demand on Shudder and AMC+ after they premiere.
