The Kardashians steal the show at Met Gala as Kendall goes without trousers and Kim wears just pearls

The most glamorous celebrity event of early summer has just taken place... and all eyes were on the gorgeous Kardashians and their wildly unexpected outfits.The Met Gala, a sophisticated annual fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City, is held annually on the first Monday of May and the 2023 event fell yesterday, Monday 1 May.This year's theme was 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,' a tribute to the legendary designer who was the creative director of Chanel from 1983 until his death in 2019.

Among those in attendance this year were actors Eddie Redmayne, Jared Leto and Florence Pugh, singers Lizzo, Rita Ora and Jennifer Lopez, as well as socialite and business woman Paris Hilton, world number one tennis player Serena Williams and model Karlie Kloss – who both announced they're pregnant during the Gala – to name a few.

Whilst everyone there looked beautiful in their extravagant outfits, many of which were teamed with extreme high heels and fancy head bands and hair pieces; there was one group of attendees who really stole the show!

The Kardashians sparkled under the lights and cameras with Kendall rocking a stunning Marc Jacobs black sequined body suit with oversized silver sparkly collar and decadent floor-length sleeves, which she wore with nothing over her legs except tan-colour tights and huge platform boots.
