Any fans of The Inbetweeners, brace yourselves for some disappointing news. Simon Bird, who shot to fame with the iconic noughties show as William McKenzie, has revealed that despite all the whispers and rumours, a reunion is not on the cards.The actor, now 40, opened up about the future of the Inbetweeners, a decade after the last film was released.
Despite three series and two films under their belt, there are no plans for a reunion anytime soon. Simon confessed: 'I'm afraid to be the one pouring cold water on this but it's not happening.
I can tell you emphatically that there are no prospects of a reunion." He explained that while the cast would love to reprise their roles, the decision isn't in their hands.
Speaking to the Mail, Simon added: 'We'd be happy to but it's not up to us, it's up to the writers, Iain and Damon, and I know they're both very busy these days.
