‘The Greatest’: Omari Hardwick & Dana Gourrier To Play Muhammad Ali’s Parents In Amazon Series

deadline.comOmari Hardwick (Power) and Dana Gourrier (P-Valley) have been cast as leads opposite Jaalen Best in The Greatest, Prime Video’s limited series about the life of Muhammad Ali, from executive producer Michael B.
Jordan and executive producer/showrunner Ben Watkins. The series will feature the defining moments in Ali’s life and career — both in and out of the ring — that have been well documented as well as moments that took place outside the spotlight.
The world remembers an icon, but The Greatest is about a man, a husband, a father, a brother, and a son. Best will play the boxing legend.
Hardwick will play his father, Cassius “Cash” Clay Sr. Gourrier will play his mother, Odessa “Bird” Clay. The Greatest is produced by Michael B.
