The Greatest Dancer has been axed by BBC bosses after just two series, according to sources. The decision comes comes after producers pulled out all the stops with an all star cast for the 2020 series and big name performers that sadly failed to pull in viewers.
The show was masterminded by talent show supremo Simon Cowell and starred the likes of Cheryl, Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison.
A TV source told The Sun the writing had been on the wall for the show for a while. “Now the BBC and everyone involved has decided enough is enough and they’ve binned it," they claimed. "Critics liked it and it pulled in a younger audience.
