A woman from Gorton has transformed a foodbank that used to do pop-ups into a permanent community cafe that still helps those in need.
Ameera Ramzan started Heaven’s Angel’s foodbank alone during the COVID-19 pandemic without any help and was making pick-ups and drop offs of food and necessities in her own time for homeless people.

Ameera’s dedication came to a point where she would fund entire boxes of food and necessities out of her own pocket when there weren’t enough donations.
