The Golden Bachelor hasn’t lost its luster. According to ABC, the inaugural season averaged 9.92M multi-platform viewers across linear and digital after 35 days of viewing.
That marks the strongest average for any season of an ABC unscripted series in five years (since American Idol during the 2019-20 broadcast season).
The 35-day average audience is also up 105% from the live+same day audience of 4.83M. In terms of adults 18-49, the season has a delayed average 2.65 rating, ABC’s highest since Katie Thurston’s Season 17 of The Bachelorette.
That’s a 342% increase from the L+SD 0.6 rating the season averaged. The Golden Bachelor delivered several record-setting audiences for ABC throughout its fall run, starting with the premiere, which had the largest multi-platform 35-day viewership the franchise had seen in three years.
